Border Collie Club of Great Britain - 2009 Yearbook
Members are invited to contribute to the 29th yearbook of the Club. Doug and Louise Collier will edit the book and the printers will again be Bernard Kaymar of Preston. The Club has decided that the 2009 edition will again be full colour.
As in previous years interesting features and statistics will be included and anyone who has a worthy feature should contact Doug or Louise for its inclusion.
All members are allowed a free entry for Breed Champions who gained their title in 2008. A photograph, date of birth, owner and breeder details and a three generation pedigree should be provided. We will also include free an obituary of any champion who passed away in 2008 if photo and details are received. The Year Book will include member's litters and adults who have had eye or hearing tests, hip scores and DNA testing for CEA, CL and TNS in 2008. All this information is listed free if passed to the editors.

However, if the advert page or pages are not supplied on disc then an 'on cost' of £7 per page should be added. NB Advertisers will get a free year book worth £16.
Members can have a half page advert for stud dogs, puppies or dogs who have passed away etc. This will also be in full colour and cost £32 but this does not entitle the advertised to a free book.
For those advertisers who cannot collect their free yearbook from the Club stall at its shows or at Crufts 2009 postage is possible but there will be a charge. Current rates of postage are
UK - £1.31, Europe £3.60, USA and Africa £6.20 and Far East, Australia and New Zealand £7.20.
A proof reading service is available for UK advertisers at a cost of 50p per page. Please advise when you send your copy if you require this service and include the appropriate amount.
THE CLOSING DATE FOR ALL DISCS AND COPY IS MONDAY 17 NOVEMBER 2008.
The 2009 Year Book will be available (hopefully) for the Midland Border Collie Club Show in February 2009, but certainly for Crufts in March and will be available at the Club's Stall by the Breed Ring.
Annual Subscription can be sent at the same time as your advertisement. Costs remain the same.
