Welcome to the official website for the Border Collie Club of Great Britain.

The club was originally formed in 1973 and was registered with the Kennel Club in 1976.

The aim of the club is to promote and encourage the responsible breeding, working and showing of Border Collies.

We accept membership from both the UK and from abroad and new members are always welcome. As part of your membership, you will receive our quarterly Border Collie newsletter.

We also publish a comprehensive (approx 400 page) yearbook with is an essential read for any Border Collie owner - please contact us for pricing and availability.

AGM

The AGM will be on Sunday 7th March 2010, held at Heald Green Village Hall. Secretarys Ballot. A typing mistake on Ms Wallbanks CV should read 20 years experience not 2 years. The ballot will as stated close on Saturday 6th March 2010 and no voting regarding the Secretaries will take place at the AGM.

BCCGB Open Obedience Show

The BCCGB Open Obedience Show will be held on the 11th July 2009. Closing date for entries is June 9th 2009. Schedule is available from the club secretary (BCCGB [at] sky.com).

Border Collie of the Year

The Border Collie of the Year show will be held in conjunction with the BCCGB Open Show at Newark on the 20th September 2009. Futher details will be sent out with the Newsletter.
